## Even Numbers

__Definition __

The numbers which have 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 at its ones place are called **Even Numbers.**
**In simple words,** all numbers which are divisible by 2 are known as **Even Numbers.**

**Example 1 =** From the given series of whole numbers find which are even numbers ?

Given series = 24, 39, 66, 101, 200, 877, 999.
**Answer =** Among the given series of whole numbers, find the numbers which are divisible by 2 and we get
**Even Numbers** are 24, 66, 200.

**Example 2 =** From the given series of whole numbers find which are even numbers ?

Given series = 12, 256, 19870, 333, 888, 675.
**Answer =** Among the given series of whole numbers, find the numbers which have 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 at its ones place and so we get,
