Definition :-
The Factors of a given number are those which divide a given number completely, without leaving any remainder.
In other words, Factors of a given number are exact divisor of that given number.
e.g = Factors of a given number 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 12

Following are some more examples for understanding Factors

Example = 1 Find the factors of the given number 20 ?
Answer = The proceeds is as :-
1 × 20 = 20
2 × 10 = 20
4 × 5 = 20
After this the factors start repeating,
so the factors of given number 20 = 1, 2, 4, 5, 10 & 20.

Example = 2 Write all factors of the given number 30 ?
Answer = The proceeds is as :-
1 × 30 = 30
2 × 15 = 30
3 × 10 = 30
5 × 6 = 30
After this the factors start repeating,
so the factors of given number 30 = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15 & 20.
